Missionary Childhood Association

Providing Children With A Chance

The Missionary Childhood Association (MCA) – formerly the Holy Childhood Association – is one of four Pontifical Mission Societies active in 120 countries around the world. Founded in France in 1843 by Bishop Charles de Forbin-Janson, MCA exists to motivate young Catholics to embrace their own missionary spirit. With a motto of “Children Helping Children” MCA also gathers material support from children for the support of missionaries ministering to children in Africa, Asia, remote regions of Latin America, and the Pacific Islands.
